Costumes and makeup are the actor’s expense. We’ll try to make/pull most things at camp as part of our costume design class! Recession proof theatre is always our summer goal!
There will be no class or rehearsal on July 4 so that we can participate in the Red White and Rose Parade! Due to the intense rehearsal schedule, students are discouraged from missing more than two days of conservatory and can not miss on or after July 8 as we’ll be running the show! Students bring their lunch.

Summer stock with extras!

Summer is the perfect opportunity for you to grow and learn new theatre techniques without the pressure of homework, reading and other performing arts taking up all your time in a cool safe environment

Join us for a fun filled day for four weeks where you’ll split your time exploring new theatre techniques both onstage and off and practicing and refining old ones while producing a show!

This summer’s conservatory will be geared to becoming a production company.  It’s not just for actors but for everyone who loves theatre.  It will be taught by trusted LHS Faculty and Guest teachers from the Bay Area, NYC and some Broadway Alumni.

Mornings will be dedicated to learning and practicing new skills from makeup, auditions, dance styles and a myriad of technical theatre techniques including scene painting, lighting and costume design.  After lunch, you’ll rehearse for the summer conservatory show.  Into The Woods!

Students must be grades 8-12 in the fall of 2010.

Don’t delay, we can only take 30 participants but need 15 to ramp up. Get in on the fun! Sign up today!
